– Congratulations on your 30 years. I was there! Well done dear friends. God bless Love Odette
2002 – Coming for an interview for a receptionist position, I was nervous and was told that I was going to be interviewed by the CEO! The interview was very informal and Oresti made me feel comfortable…Ornico is like a second home to me. Colleagues aren’t just colleagues, they are like family. Ornico is a wonderful environment to work in and everyone rocks!!
2014 – Been with this company for almost three months now, never been happier or felt more welcome. This company is amazing, they accept all their staff as individuals, allowing staff to be themselves and to flourish with what each individual has to offer. The people are amazing here at Ornico! I work for the most amazing boss ever, Oresti has the most amazing vibe and energy and brings the best out of all his staff. A CEO to look up to, extremely proud to be his PA and to be in a company that lets me be me and to work for a boss that helps me to grow and to want more in life, to consume all the knowledge the world has to offer.
2002 – When coming in for my interview in February 2002, I broke the door handle and walked into Oresti’s office with the handle in my hand. He started laughing and he told me that maintenance is not his talent. Surprisingly I got the job. I was privileged to be part of the growth that Ornico experienced the past few years, and the best part is that Ornico remained the company with a heart, where I started working 10 years ago.
2014 – From the beautiful glitzy shopping malls and funky nightclubs of Johannesburg to the majestic Table Mountain backdrop of Cape Town, not mentioning the balmy weather of Durban. Landing in the soothing Badagry, Eleko beaches of Lagos and now in the prime tourist destinations of Nairobi Kenya. From the Kenyan team Happy Bday Ornico…
2014 – Thank you for the past 30 years. For being pioneers and industry leaders. Thank you for all we can learn from not just yourself, but also from Francois and the rest of team Ornico. Here is to the next 30 years. May Ornico go from strength to strength. Enjoy the festivities tonight, please be safe.
2012 – Know how to grow in Africa
2009 – What a great experience having the opportunity to go and live in a foreign country and being called an “XPat” as my Nigerians would say. Out of all countries it had to be Nigeria the country that never sleeps. It was hard at first, the heat, generators, traffic but when you forget about your comfort zone and being a South African then you get to learn a lot, the entrepreneurial skills, negotiating skills, survival skills to name but a few. My whole mindset has changed after that year and its an experience I will never forget in my life and even more it put Ornico on the map. As a company we learned a lot about Joint Ventures and trading in a foreign country but even more I grew as an individual. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.
